How can I lower tuition costs?

Completing at least one of the main tuition assistance options below allows families to automatically receive a Guaranteed Scholarship from the Diocese of Scranton. Families are encouraged to complete as many options as possible to take full advantage of our financial aid and tuition assistance opportunities.

1. Apply for Tuition Assistance with the FACTS Grant & Aid Application.

  • For more information: Visit the Diocese of Scranton Catholic Schools page for more details

  • The FACTS Grant and Aid application is a qualifying action for the DoS Guaranteed Scholarship and has the added benefit of automatically allowing the family to be considered for additional tuition assistance through:

    • Other Diocese of Scranton Financial Aid Awards and Scholarships

    • PA EITC Scholarship Awards

    • Epiphany School Scholarship

⚠️ FACTS Grant and Aid applications submitted after the April 15th deadline will be considered as funds remain available, but early applications receive priority.

2. Participate in the Pennsylvania Tuition Tax Credit Program.

  • Apply to direct a portion of your or your business’ PA state tax to Epiphany School through the EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) program and receive a tax credit of 90% of the amount you pay. Contact us for details and applications.

3. Out of State Families: Donate $1,000 to the Epiphany School Tuition Scholarship Fund.

  • Given the proximity of Epiphany School to NY, we are aware that not all of our families live and work in PA. Given this scenario, families may not have a PA tax liability and would not be eligible to receive PA EITC scholarships due to out of state residence. The option to donate to our school scholarship fund provides a similar level of awards.
